Traditional Worship at Statesboro First
Statesboro First United Methodist Church holds two traditional worship services each Sunday morning in our beautiful Gothic Sanctuary, which faces South Main Street. The services are held at 8:30AM and 11:00AM. Both services feature liturgy and the great hymns of the faith, accompanied by our magnificent Casavant pipe organ. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.
8:30 ServiceThis service is identical to the 11:00 a.m. service, with the exception of the choral anthem and Children’s Moment. There is a time of fellowship with coffee and refreshments in the Gathering Area just outside the Narthex immediately following the service.

11:00 ServiceThis service features a full procession with acolytes and Chancel Choir, anthem and other special musical elements. There is also a Children’s Moment led by a Children’s Ministry volunteer. Children are escorted to Kid’s Worship immediately following the Children’s Moment.
