This is a hard truth: The line of good and evil runs through ALL of us. We’ve seen this popularized in culture today: the devil on one shoulder with an angel on the other. The struggle within each of us is real, o en evidenced in the choices we make every day: kindness or cruelty, truth or deceit, compassion or calloused apathy, faithfulness or in delity, mercy or revenge. At some point, we have likely experienced the burden of this struggle in ourselves, or we have been a ected by the struggle born in others. Why is this struggle real? Why is there evil? How can a good God allow such evil to exist? Is religion evil? What happens when societies go bad? What can we do about it? How do we overcome evil with good?
Over the following weeks, we will we explore these questions by walking with Jesus through the wilderness and putting on the armor of God that will fortify us to overcome all things through Christ who gives us strength.
