This is such a powerful love story. Sometimes in life you can know a person, without them even telling you a word about themselves. I knew from day one it was something special about you and I figured it out, it's the strength that God has given you to endure. I often times look at you with no words to say, but just know when I am looking at you I am admiring the strength God has given you. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to have Mr. Rupar as my instructor. Mr. Rupar your testimony about your walk with God, giving you peace with the thought of death, was so touching. I will continue to pray God grants healing, joy, favor, happiness, serenity, peace, and comfort to you both. I love you both.

Thank you for sharing your testimony. Going to share your testimony so others can hear. Prayers for you both. I have had acute pancreatitis many years ago and I know how intense the pain can be. Thank you again.

David and Michele, thanks for sharing your testimony and your vulnerability. I have walked where you are walking and know how you are feeling. The love shown to you from Statesboro First Methodist and the peace you receive from the Holy Spirit will be overwhelming. It is beyond explanation. God is good!

I have always admired Mrs. Rupar and her spirit. When I was enrolled in OTC for the Funeral Service Education Program, she would always share her many personal stories of her life in class and even then I could tell she had a close relationship with God. In life we are constantly faced with ups and downs, yet sometimes it seems that we are faced with more downs than ups but, it is that relationship that you and Mr. Rupar both have that is comforting you and giving you the wisdom and understanding to know that whatever may take place is the will of God.
It is evident that you have God with you both. In the pain, uncertainty, doubt and confusion of it all, you are at peace with His will. Thank you both for sharing this and being great examples of what love is and depending on God, not for just for a miracle to heal David but, just depending on Him because you know that what God does is good and that whatever may be, you will be assured that all will be well in the eyes of Christ. I am praying for you both and may God continue blessing you!

What a beautiful and hopeful testimony! Thank you both for sharing your love story, We too have been on a cancer journey. Living "raw" allows you to focus on the the things and people in our lives that truly matter. So thankful that you both share our comfort in Jesus. God is still in the business of miracles. May your days be as long as your faith is rich. Peace and blessings,

David and Michelle - like Hugh W., I too, have walked where you are walking. Faith, peace and grace go with you both as you share this chapter of your lives. It will be so difficult at times; however, First Methodist Pastors and "family" will be lifting you both up. God Bless both of you for sharing your Love Story of Hope!

From the moment I met David and Michelle I could feel and sense your strong love for each other and your love for God. I'm so thankful you did not go to the church with the red doors ! I'm so thankfull You cane to Springfield UMC ❤. Your love for each other was so obvious! I so remember your wedding in your pretty pink dress and David being a bit jittery (and hot) on that beautiful Sunday afternoon in August. I have always loved and admired you both because you are not selfish people. You care for others and what they are going through. Your love fur God is also very obvious and you showed that through your servant hood while you were in Springfield! I I understood , but still am disappointed that you are no longer at our church. We just have to trust that God has put you in the perfect place for such a time as this. I'm so thankful for the time you have had together and for the many amazing memories you have made together as a couple and as parents and grand parents. God has blessed all of us who have met you and allowed us to be a small part of your life. Our love and prayers go out to you both and to your families. May God continue to give you as many happy times as possible. Always remember when your days get dark and difficult, God has not left you. He is with you always and will help you through this together as long as your circle of three are present. Sending you much love, prayers, peace, and comfort in all that is ahead of you. Thanks for sharing your love story with us. ❤🙏
